EDITORIAL

There is again breaking news to report! This is especially true for our app, the CONSTANTIA Reel-Calc. It has now been released in its next version and includes more product groups. Also new is our innovative all-in-one primer. An impressive product that works outstandingly with all standard applications and across a very large number of conventional UV inks and printing systems. The highly developed dialogue with our customers is a core element of our company. And rightly so, as you can read in the article about our technical Packaging Seminar at Novo Nordisk. Another reflection of outstanding collaboration is the "Quality Award 2015," which has been bestowed on us by the Ascoli Piceno plant of Pfizer in Italy. I would also like to recommend our country report on Vietnam and our acquisition of Oai Hung in Ho Chi Minh City. In the future, this will enable us to supply our customers in Southeast Asia with products that are custom made to these markets.
Finally, a very important topic: The extent of counterfeit drugs currently in circulation is a huge problem. We estimate there is a market of about US$200 billion for such products (Ernst & Young, Counterfeiting, piracy and smuggling: Growing threat to national security)! Hence we are working with passion to develop other products that combat these dangerous counterfeits. We will keep you up-to-date on this topic in future Newsletters.
